The Deterred Dream

Wanted to share a project I’ve been working on spontaneously over the past year, The Deterred Dream. This is just a preview, I have a lot of big plans, probably too big, and I can’t wait to show this concept. The picture above is a print I’d received from Imagekind. I’m just getting started with my free account but it’s been really easy to jump right into. Imagekind provides a “one stop
Short is in… A Brief Message
200 word thought provoking articles on design. ABriefMessage.com keeps it short because… short is better, even the replies are limited to 200 words. You’ll find articles by Chip Kidd, Emily Gordon and this guy, Dan Saffer, whose article Making Stuff vs. Making Stuff Up really struck a chord with me. Check it out and let me know what you think.

If you’re going to steal someone’s website… better know what you’re doing
Some french dude ripped off my website but still linked over to my images so I hooked ‘em up with a little custom weenie treat. You gotta visit the actual links on this one and scroll to get the full effect.
Peter Grundy
This is where it’s at. The work of Peter Grundy is imaginative, innovative, stylish and fun. Every piece is distinct while staying fresh and original. He is an inspiration to me and I can’t wait to show you his work… right here - http://www.grundini.com
Adobe just got a lot Kuler
Man, Adobe just got a whole lot Kuler. This site is a great place to experiment with color and compare palettes with other people. The flash interface is so intuitive and I think I prefer the more simplistic approach over Colour Lovers. Hmmm, not sure but I know I’ll be visiting either one or the other on most of my future projects. Check’em out~!
